Potential Health Effects
Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes. Moderately irritating to the eyes.
Skin Contact: Avoid contact with skin. Contact with undiluted product can cause mild skin irritation. Patch test on human volunteers did not demonstrate sensitization properties.
Inhalation: Inhalation of vapors or mists may cause irritation of the upper respiratory tract. See additional information below.
Ingestion: Ingestion of this product can cause irritation of the mouth and throat, upset stomach, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Further information: Inhalation of vapors or skin contact with 1-butoxy-2-propanol can cause central nervous system effects. Observations in animals showed increased liver size following repeated exposure. Prolonged or widespread skin exposure may result in the absorption of harmful amounts. -
